The Australian Human Rights Institute has selected this year's Global Student Fellows who'll be joining a leading international development or human rights organisation in Australia or overseas for the six-week paid fellowship.

The program, open to all UNSW students, had more than 130 applicants from every faculty. Thanks to philanthropic donations and funding partnerships with UNSW faculties and Institutes, the program was able to provide fellowships for a record 14 students this year.

Host organisations include Amnesty International, the Australian Human Rights Commission, Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, Engineers Without Borders, Human Rights Watch, Jubilee Australia, the Justice and Equity Centre, and UN Migration. Fellowships will take place in Australia, Cambodia, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu and Vietnam
