If you are applying for competitive research grants, including the Australian Research Council (ARC) and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) major schemes, or fellowship grants such as Future Fellowships, the Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA), or Investigator Grants, this support is for you.
Category 1 grant application support provides financial and in-kind assistance for projects with a human rights focus. Academic associates are invited to apply on a rolling basis. PhD students are not eligible for this scheme.
Support includes:
- Cash contribution ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to support project workshops/events.
- In-kind contribution (with an approximate value of $30,000 a year) to support budget and project management, administrative and budget support, event facilitation, dissemination of outputs, marketing, and communications.
- General grant application review focusing on the human rights aspect of the project.
- Facilitated professional application review by external experts.
