Human rights campaigners are calling for more action to tackle the scourge of "modern slavery" in regional and rural Australia.
A report released in September in New South Wales found worrying examples in that state, of migrant workers being subjected to forced labour, sexual servitude and what's known as "debt bondage".
Experts say that sort of exploitation is happening in other states too. They're worried the new national anti-slavery commissioner might not have strong enough powers to investigate.
